Hey everyone! We’re officially settled-ish into our new home here at Fort Riley. I wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself to my new local fans. If you’ve ever wondered about the face behind VSP, you’re in the right spot! Here goes nothing:
My name is Victoria and I’m a photographer. I have been a professional photographer for four years now. My husband and I have been married almost five years and we have two beautiful kiddos. They are the biggest reason I do what I do. I want to capture their lives, and document everything around us so we have something to pass down to the next generation.
VSP launched at Fort Stewart, GA in 2011 and spent three years there. In the beginning, I shot pretty much anything I had the opportunity to: families, couples, seniors, babies, dancers, homecomings, weddings, parties… You name it, I shot it. After a couple years, I decided to start specializing in seniors, dancers, homecomings, and couples. In 2014, the Army moved our family to Fort Benning, were I was unable to photograph homecomings because so few units deploy from there. I spent fifteen months there, fine tuning my passion for dance photography and seniors, and continuing to shoot families, couples, and the occasional baby.
That brings us to now. At the end of January 2016, the Army moved our family once again. This time, we headed to Fort Riley. As we get settled here, I see so many places I want to photograph. There are some beautiful views here in the Sunflower State. Even in the dead of winter, I see so much beauty around us.
I’m so incredibly excited to get fully settled here and start photographing all of you. I will be launching my senior rep program in the coming weeks, so if you know someone in the class of 2017, please send them my way. I can’t wait to make a splash here at Fort Riley. Make sure you’re following my Facebook page to stay up to date on the specials and availability. Thank you so much for welcoming me to Kansas!
