Graduation is coming up quickly! High school is almost over, are you ready? While it might feel like there are a million things left to do before your big day, there are a few things that will make your graduation ceremony go a little easier. Aside from the obvious – dress, shoes, cap and gown – there are some things that you should pick up before graduation chaos really sets in. Here are five graduation must-haves (and links to Amazon to make your life even easier)!
| Fashion Tape – This stuff is amazing. If you didn’t already pick some up for prom, definitely grab some for graduation. If you’re wearing a cute little sun dress under your gown, you want to make sure it stays in place. Throw a little tape on your shoulders and bust line to make sure everything stays put.
| Bobby Pins – These are a must have for life in general, but especially for graduation day. You’ll want your hair to stay in place under your cap, especially with people adjusting it to make sure it looks perfect. Don’t let them mess up your hair while they’re at it!
| Hairspray – Need I say more? Especially all you southern ladies, the humidity is not our friend… If your graduation ceremony is outside, humidity is almost guaranteed. If your ceremony is inside, it’s bound to be stuffy and sticky. Make sure your hair holds its curl (or straightness) with some flexible hold hairspray. The Dove hairspray linked above is my absolute favorite. This stuff works so well, and doesn’t leave your hair feeling all weird.
| Waterproof Mascara – You’re bound to shed a few tears on graduation day. Waterproof mascara will make that ugly cry face we’re all going to make a little more pretty. I love using a few coats of this volumizing mascara, since it gives you length and full lashes.
| Lip Color – Finding the perfect lip color to make your look really pop is key. Finding a color that will last all night is even harder. I’ve had great luck with Cover Girl’s Outlast Lipcolor. There are tons of shades to choose from, but I love Rose Pearl and Ever Red. Do you have a favorite?
