Just because it’s cold outside does not mean it’s not the perfect time for senior pictures! I absolutely love shooting in the winter. We’re not sweating, there’s no humidity (for you Georgia and Alabama folks), and there might even be snow (especially for my Northern friends!). Winter really is a fabulous time for pictures.I not as busy in the winter (both with personal activities and sessions), which means that you have lots more availability to choose from! We can shoot later in the morning, so you don’t have to wake up nearly as early to do your hair and makeup. Another plus? Layers! Of course you’re going to want to stay warm, so you have tons more options for clothing than a piping hot July session. Need some inspiration? That’s why I’m here 😉 Take a look at this trending look:
Lastly, the accessories that you get to wear are fantastic. Hats, scarves, boot cuffs, gloves and mittens… I love it all. These are such an easy way to add a pop of color and a touch of personality to your session wardrobe. We can easily add and remove them between shots to change up your look too. Jewelry is always another way to add some oomph to your session too. Why not get a little festive and rock some snow flakes?
I hope you’re ready for some awesome senior photos this winter! Now cross your fingers that Michigan will bless us with some awesome snow for our Michigan trip coming up! If you want a snow session, contact me ASAP! God Bless ♥ Victoria
