I can’t believe my sweet girl is two. She is almost three feet tall, weighs 28 pounds, and is full of sass. She’s got a personality all her own, and it’s a strong one. She has a growing obsession with princesses (Sofia the First to be specific), Curious George, and Doc McStuffins. She loves to play outside, or inside, or wherever she finds herself. She talks all the time. For a while, I was keeping track of how many words she knows, but I’ve completely lost track now. If you ask her to say it, she can probably say it. She knows most of her colors, and is starting to learn numbers and ABC’s. I’m always amazing by the connections and associations she makes. I’m so proud of the little lady she’s becoming.
Last year, for her first birthday, we shot her in a white dress and pink cowboy boots both from Target. I wanted to do the same thing this year, and hopefully make it a tradition. Sure enough, I found another perfect white dress (even better than last year!) and adorable little brown cowboy boots at our local Target. The dress was even on clearance, just like last year. Apparently the last week of July is the time to shop for sun dresses. So over the weekend we attempted to shoot her annual birthday photos, but she was less than cooperative. I did get some great shots of her and her Nana, but I was really excited to get our second attempt done. This morning’s try was definitely successful. Take a look at my big girl’s birthday session:
I can only hope that she’ll let me stick her in another white dress and boots next year! I can’t wait to see how much this year brings for my beautiful little girl.
God Bless ♥ Victoria
