This week’s Wear it Wednesday is all about your family photos in the summer. Family photos are usually one done once or twice a year (and if they’re not done that frequently, they’re even more special!), so you want to make them count. Coordinating your family’s wardrobe will bring so much to your session. Here are a few great examples of what to wear for your summer family photos, and a quick shot I got of my husband, dad, brother, and Miss A after we had to cancel our family photos because of some ugly rain (I couldn’t help myself).
Using coordinating colors can help each family member stand out. Adding matching accents will keep the photo pulled together, but still allows each person to have their own style.
Wearing different shades of the same color can also look perfect. By adding darker and lighter shades, you’ll get some great variety in your family’s look.
Lastly, this will be the theme for our photos this year. If you’re worried about what to wear for your family photos, please don’t hesitate to ask for some suggestions! I also have a Pinterest board full of ideas for you.
